How not to face problems on your vacation?
I’m a permanent guest of the site and I want to share my experience of the previous trip with triplia’s visitors and to give them some useful tips about how to make their journey unforgettable and not to worry about vacation conditions.
Last summer I decided to spend my vacation in Tunisia. This country seemed to me very exotic and obscure. And I like to go into uncharted territories. I bought a package holiday at a tour firm and self-satisfied I went to Africa. I dreamed of sand beaches and azure sea, clear sky and friendly Tunisian people and, certainly, I wanted to relax from daily routine without a thought of tiding up and cooking. That’s why I chose an expensive five-star hotel with all the conveniences one has ever needed.
The first day in Tunisia was great. I was impressed by its nature, exotic food and friendly indigenous people. I faced with the problems after a few days. My room hadn’t been tided for a couple of the days, my menu contained fried potatoes and a steak (every day!) instead of the promised seafood and fruits, their Internet room was awful. I-net failed every day and it couldn’t even connect with my country’s server. I was completely fed up when I got ill and went to the doctor’s who didn’t even examine me. I came to the hotel manager but he didn’t speak English. I was embarrassed. I was a total outsider in a foreign country and I didn’t know what to do. I hated Tunisia!
Luckily, my vacation came to the end and when I returned home I met my friend who had also been to Tunisia that summer. To my great surprise he was so exited by Tinisia that he wanted to go there next summer. When I asked him how it could be so that the same country stirs up hate and love of different people, he gave me some tips which were very useful to me later. Now I want to share them with you:
1. Make sure you deal with a serious firm. Ask your friends and mates if they have heard about it anything.
2. Always inquire about insurance policy in case you are ill.
3. Make sure that Internet (if you need it) works fine in the place you are going to.
4. Take as many medicine as you can in case you’re ill.
5. The most important! Don’t be lazy! Surf through the Net various hotels at the place you are traveling to according to your tastes. Nowadays there are many sites in the Net that provide you with a good hotel choice and which you can rely on. My friend found his hotel in Tunisia at www.hotelscombined.com. This website compares over 30 of major reservation sites at once and gives the full information about the hotels all over the world according to your demands of Wi-Fi Internet, seafood, 5-star hotels and so on.
Finally, I wish you the best journey and remember: your unique vacation depends on where you stay.
What are the best resorts in South India?
India is one of the most ancient civilizations in the world. It attracts everybody by its richest nature and the warmest climate. It gave the world chess and decimal notation.
India strikes everyone at every step. Majestic Himalayas, mysterious Tibet, the sacred river Gang, dozens of sea resorts, numerous monuments of the previous centuries and a great number of museums make up the national pride of this wonderful country.
Indian resorts occupy practically the whole country territory, but loads of them are situated on the seashores. Kerala is located on the south-west India. It is the capital of spices and coconut palm; it is the land of rice, tea and coffee plantations. From the earliest times this place has attracted the travelers and traders from all over the world not only by its rare goods, but by picturesque nature and people hospitality.
Goa seems to be the best resort in South India for tourist vacation. The tourist infrastructure is developed greatly here: bars, restaurants, night discos, casinos, diving centers and a huge variety of hotels make Goa the most Europeanize region in India. Sothern Goa is the most unpopulated place of the state. It is famous for its wide snowy beaches: Bogmolo, Kolva, Mobor and others. Southern Goa hotels have much higher level that those in the north.
Here is the list of the most attractive Goa beaches:
Kolva is the principal tourist center. It is full of perfect restaurants and comfortable hotels, intended for people with any budget. It is less touristic than other Indian resorts that’s why it is the best place for nook lovers.
Benalium has fewer tourists than Kolva does and is a quite relaxing place for those who prefer small cozy cafes to noisy bars and big groups of dolphins to guy tourists. It is a center of rural tourism. Benalium village is famed for its furniture and poon manufactures.
A small bay with a sand beach, surrounded by palms is called Bogmalo. The beach is equipped by deck chairs and umbrellas. The waters are safe for swimmers, and the coast is full of cafes and souvenir shops. Bogmalo’s Marine Aviation Museum is the main sight here. Luxurious coconut groves turn the place to the big park.
Mobor is the most beautiful place in Goa. The beach is surrounded by water everywhere. A lot of charming islands, sand dunes, white lilies in the ponds distinguish Mobor from other southern parts of India.
So, if you like tender jasmine fragrance, dream of the Himalayas coolness and beauty, want to relax on a warm white beach and to admire the nature of wet tropics, resorts in South India will become the best place of your vacation. But note that the best vacation season in Goa lasts from the end of October till the beginning of May. This time the climate is paradisiacal: the cloudless blue sky, warm, but not hot, days and calm sea.
