What Everybody Must See In Prague?
Prague is the capital of Czech Republic and it’s a city of high value. In 1992 UNESCO enrolled it as the city of the world culture heritage.
Spending your vacation in Prague you can visit unique historic monuments, have entertaining excursions and live in cozy Prague hotels, attend theatres and listen to opera performances.
One of the main places that everybody must see in Prague is Karlov Bridge. Its building was begun by Karl (Charles) IV in 1357 and the bridge was built in 1386 after the King’s death. The bridge was placed at the place of the old stone bridge called Juditin. It was shifted to the south that’s why it’s a little bit crooked now. The length of the famous bridge is 516 meters, the width is 10 meters. It is supported by 16 abutments and units the Old City and the Small Country. There are sculptures on the bridge that have made it very popular: the side of the Old City is decorated with gothic tower while the Small Contry is equipped with the smaller one.
Karlov Bridge is a masterpiece of the middle age architecture and is the most beautiful Prague Bridge.
The Old Square
The Old Square is famous for the most renowned monuments of history and architecture of Prague that include the old Town Hall, St. Mikulash Church and astronomic watch. The square is a pedestrian area. In summer it turns into a scene where the performances of many people take place.
The Old Town Hall
The Old Town Hall is located on the south-west part of the Old Square. It is the heart of the Old Square. It has astronomic watch on the top. The Town Hall was founded in 1338 in order to unite the houses of a furrier and other artisans.
Astronomic watch
This is the legend of Prague. Every skeleton that reminds of the frailty of the humanity rings a bell and there is a 12 apostles procession in the window. It is followed by a guy cook cry that tells that the life is continued. Therefore the window is closed and yet another hour is the history.
Prague Town
Prague Town is the main historic country relic. Located on the left Vltava beach it is the architectural pearl of Prague. The stone wall of the XII century brings up its buildings into the separate territory. It has 35 units: palace and church buildings, gardens, fountains and bridges. Undoubtedly it is one of the places one must see in Prague.
